Inside The Tabernacle: How God’s House Was Actually Built?

October 1, 2026

God’s House was built as a portable sanctuary in the desert, constructed according to exact heavenly patterns shown to Moses on Mount Sinai. The construction involved voluntary donations of gold, silver, bronze, fine linen, and animal skins, which were crafted into a highly structured, mobile temple.

Construction and Structure

Dimensions and Frame: The main sanctuary was 45 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 15 feet high, built from 48 acacia wood boards overlaid with gold and set in silver sockets.
Coverings: The wooden frame was covered by four layers of materials: finely woven linen with cherubim, goat hair, ram skins, and durable sea cow skins.
Enclosure: The entire complex was situated in a 150×75 foot courtyard enclosed by linen hangings supported by bronze pillars, with an altar of burnt offering and a laver at the entrance.

Interior Layout and Furnishings

Holy Place: The larger outer room contained the golden lampstand (menorah), the table of showbread, and the golden altar of incense.
Holy of Holies: Separated by a thick veil embroidered with cherubim, this inner sanctuary housed the Ark of the Covenant, which contained the Ten Commandments and represented God’s presence.
Leadership: Bezalel and Oholiab were divinely appointed to oversee the craftsmanship, ensuring every element was executed with precision.

Purpose and Significance

Divine Dwelling: The Tabernacle served as the physical location where Yahweh’s presence (Shekinah glory) dwelt among the Israelites during their wilderness journey.
Worship Center: It functioned as the central site for sacrifices and priestly rituals, symbolizing the covenant between God and Israel.
Portability: Unlike later stationary temples, it was designed to be disassembled and carried, allowing the community to worship wherever they camped.

What Does The KJV Bible Say?

The King James Version (KJV), the construction of the Tabernacle was completed exactly as God commanded Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 25-40). It was built using voluntary offerings of gold, silver, brass, precious woods, and fine linens, utilizing the divinely inspired craftsmanship of Bezaleel and Aholiab.

Component	KJV References	Primary Materials Used	Core Purpose & Symbolic Meaning
Ark of the Covenant	Exodus 25:10-22	Shittim wood, Pure Gold	The throne of God’s presence containing the Testimony.
Table of Shewbread	Exodus 25:23-30	Shittim wood, Pure Gold	Held 12 loaves of bread representing the 12 tribes of Israel.
Golden Candlestick	Exodus 25:31-40	Pure Gold (Beaten work)	Provided perpetual light inside the Holy Place.
Tabernacle Curtains	Exodus 26:1-14	Fine twined linen, Goat’s hair, Rams’ skins dyed red, Badgers’ skins	The protective and ornate inner and outer coverings of the structure.
The Boards & Sockets	Exodus 26:15-30	Shittim wood overlaid with Gold, Silver sockets	The rigid structural walls supporting the heavy curtain coverings.
The Veil	Exodus 26:31-33	Blue, Purple, Scarlet, Fine twined linen	Separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place (Holy of Holies).
Altar of Burnt Offering	Exodus 27:1-8	Shittim wood, Brass	The main sacrificial altar located in the outer court.
The Court Enclosure	Exodus 27:9-19	Fine twined linen, Brass pillars, Silver hooks	Demarcated the sacred perimeter from the rest of the camp.
Altar of Incense	Exodus 30:1-10	Shittim wood, Pure Gold	Used for burning sweet incense continually before the Lord.
The Brazen Laver	Exodus 30:17-21	Brass (from looking-glasses of the women)	Contained water for the priests to wash their hands and feet before service.

10 Concrete Examples of Construction & Assembly

Beating the Golden Candlestick: Artisans beat a single talent of pure gold into an intricate seven-branched lampstand with bowls made like almonds, knops, and flowers (Exodus 25:31).
Overlaying Shittim Wood: The structural boards, the Ark, and the tables were meticulously encased in thin sheets of pure gold so no wood remained visible inside the sanctuary (Exodus 25:11).
Casting Silver Sockets: The silver received from the census atonement money was melted down and cast into heavy structural foundational sockets—two underneath every board (Exodus 26:19).
Weaving Cherubims into Curtains: Skilled weavers embroidered complex figures of cherubims directly into the blue, purple, and scarlet fine linen curtains (Exodus 26:1).
Coupling Curtains with Taches: The ten inner curtains were stitched into two sets of five. These sets were linked together using 50 loops of blue yarn and 50 golden taches (clasps) (Exodus 26:3-5).
Dyeing Rams’ Skins: Large quantities of rams’ skins were cured and dyed a brilliant red color to serve as the third weather-resistant layer over the roof (Exodus 26:14).
Boring Rings for Bars: Golden rings were fastened to the exterior of the structural boards to hold long wooden bars overlaid with gold, locking the wall frames flat (Exodus 26:26-29).
Melting Brass for the Brazen Altar: The outer sacrificial altar was hollowed out using wood, covered fully in brass, and fitted with a brass grate net at its center (Exodus 27:1-4).
Forming the Hanging Veil Pillars: Four pillars of shittim wood were overlaid with gold and placed on four silver sockets to hang the inner dividing veil via golden hooks (Exodus 26:32).
Assembling the Court Gate: A 20-cubit wide hanging screen of blue, purple, scarlet, and needleworked fine twined linen was mounted to four pillars to form the east-facing entryway (Exodus 27:16).

Analyst Reports: Multi-Perspective Interpretations

1. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Analyst Report

Core Assessment: The architecture of the Tabernacle is a masterful expression of ISTJ (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) structural archetypes.
The Framework: The system relies entirely on absolute precision, exact specifications (cubit measurements), and strict adherence to historical protocol. There is zero room for spontaneous design deviations; the structural framework prioritizes orderly, step-by-step assembly lines (Sensing/Judging).
Human Factor: The roles given to Bezaleel (INFJ vision meets execution) and Aholiab (ISTP technical mastery of materials) showcase a balanced division of labor where intuitive divine inspiration is perfectly translated into tangible, structural reality.

2. John MacArthur Analyst Report

Core Assessment: The Tabernacle is a flawless, literal type of Christology, Substitutionary Atonement, and Sovereignty.
The Framework: Every dimension dictates the absolute holiness of God and the total depravity of man. Man cannot approach a holy God on his own terms; he must enter through the singular eastern gate, pass the blood-stained Brazen Altar, and receive cleansing at the Laver.
Soteriological Meaning: The structural components are not mere aesthetic choices. The flawless gold highlights Christ’s deity, the wood points to His perfect humanity, and the torn veil in the future fulfillment echoes the absolute completion of His penal substitutionary work.

3. Paul Washer Analyst Report

Core Assessment: The Tabernacle is a terrifying monument to the Absolute Separation, Majestic Holiness, and Frightful Justice of God.
The Framework: Modern culture treats God casually, but the building specs of Exodus scream that God is a consuming fire. The heavy layers of badgers’ skins and thick veils act as a barrier to hide a fallen world from the lethal purity of God’s presence.
The Reality: The ground is soaked in the blood of sacrifices. Without the shedding of blood, there is no access. It stands as a stark indictment against casual Christianity, reminding us that true worship requires trembling, fear, and brokenness before the Sovereign King.

4. Greg Schad Analyst Report

Core Assessment: The Tabernacle serves as a therapeutic framework for Psychological Integration, Psychological Safety, and Mental Wholeness.
The Framework: From a clinical and biblical perspective, human beings possess highly fragmented minds. The Tabernacle functions as a progressive pathway out of internal chaos into a quiet, integrated space where a person can wait on the Lord to renew their soul.
The Reality: The progression from the chaotic, noisy outer courtyard to the silent, dark Holy of Holies maps the stabilization of human identity. It is an architectural blueprint for moving an anxious mind out of cultural noise and anchoring it securely within the unconditional grace and design of the Creator.

5. Jordan Peterson Analyst Report

Core Assessment: The Tabernacle is the ultimate psychological manifestation of the Sacred Center, the Ordering of Chaos, and the Architecture of Value.
The Framework: Humanity requires a structured center to stave off the terrifying encroachment of nihilistic wilderness chaos. By taking the highest ideal—the transcendent God—and placing Him in the exact geographical center of the camp, the Israelites established a functional hierarchy of value.
The Reality: The journey through the concentric layers of the Tabernacle represents the voluntary psychological sacrifice required to encounter the ultimate truth. The Ark of the Covenant, tucked away at the core, is the localized container of the Logos—the foundational rules of reality that keep human society from collapsing into absolute madness.

Father God, Let Your Will Be Done, Not My Will mademanministries

This is a major important point about forgiveness

Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. -MATTHEW 5:24 KJV

Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?

I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.

When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.

We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.

Women are looking for a fathers love

Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in Christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave theses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.

Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.

Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)

In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.

All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.

In a world where it is so easy to forget the importance of God, we must remember that He is holy and will not share His glory. America has forgotten this truth and it is time for us to re-examine our relationship with God and recognize that He is the one true God who deserves our full devotion and reverence. We must remember that He will not be taken lightly or ignored, but rather should be honored as the Creator of all things. Only then can we truly experience His love and grace in our lives.
