World English Bible And Why Do Some Publishers Sale It As A Complete Translation Of The Ethiopian Bible

There is no single, officially recognized complete English translation of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church (EOTC) Bible canon, which contains 81 to 88 books, including unique texts like 1 Enoch, Jubilees, and the three books of Meqabyan.  Many publishers falsely market their products as “Complete Ethiopian Bibles in English,” claiming to include all 88 books. However, these are all misleading and inaccurate. 

Key reasons why these claims are false:

• Most books in the Ethiopian canon have not been translated into English, especially the broader canon texts.  Even if a book is included, it may be a partial or inaccurate rendering.
• Publishers often add or remove books not in the EOTC canon (e.g., the Testament of the Twelve Patriarchs, Ascension of Isaiah) to inflate the count or appeal to Western audiences. 
• Many so-called “complete” editions use tiny print, contain typos, and are hastily assembled, often with fake or contrived author names. 
• The Ethiopian Orthodox Bible Project, which aims to produce a genuine English translation, confirms that no complete English version exists yet and warns against fraudulent products. 

What is actually available:

• Standalone translations of key books like 1 Enoch, Jubilees, and Meqabyan 1–3 are available from reputable publishers. 
• Academic collections like James Charlesworth’s Pseudepigrapha volumes include many Ethiopian canon texts with scholarly notes. 
• Reputable sources such as the official EOTC website or the Mahbere Kidusan (MK) organization may provide guidance on authentic texts. 

In short, do not trust any product labeled as a “complete” English Ethiopian Bible—they are all fakes.  The World English Bible is a separate, modern English Bible translation based on the standard Protestant canon and is not related to the Ethiopian canon. 

The claim that the Ethiopian Bible has never been translated into English is false—but with important context. 

Some books of the Ethiopian Bible have been translated into English, including well-known works like 1 Enoch, Jubilees, and the three Meqabyan (Ethiopian Maccabees).  These translations are available through scholarly publishers and online sources.

However, there is no complete, officially recognized English translation of the entire Ethiopian Orthodox Bible canon—which includes approximately 81 to 88 books.  Many commercially sold “complete” English versions on platforms like Amazon are fraudulent or incomplete, as they omit books that have never been translated into English due to the original text being in Ge’ez, an ancient liturgical language no longer spoken. 

The Ethiopian Orthodox Bible Project is actively working to produce a full English translation of the untransliterated books, but as of now, no single bound English volume contains all books of the Ethiopian canon.  The project warns that most so-called “complete” editions are misleading and should be avoided. 

In short: Individual books have been translated, but a full, authentic English version of the entire Ethiopian Bible does not yet exist.

The claim that the Ethiopian Bible was never translated into English is false. While a single, official, authorized English version of the entire 81-book canon is rare, many individual books and compiled, unofficial versions exist, often translated from Ge’ez by scholars like Sir E. A. Wallis Budge and R. H. Charles.

• Translation Source: These versions are direct translations from the ancient Ge’ez language, which is the liturgical language of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
• Academic vs. Popular: Older, academic translations (e.g., late 19th/early 20th century) exist, but some, like the 1800s translations by Richard Laurence, may not cover the entire 81-book canon. 

Therefore, they are using English translations derived from the original Ge’ez texts, primarily focusing on books not found in the King James Version. 

What Does The KJV Bible Say?

The World English Bible (WEB) is a modern English revision of the American Standard Version (1901) that is frequently marketed by publishers as a “complete translation of the Ethiopian Bible” (or “Complete Ethiopian Bible in English”). This marketing tactic typically leverages the public domain nature of the WEB to combine it with English translations of Ethiopian-specific books—such as the Book of Enoch, Jubilees, and the Books of Maccabees (Meqabyan)—that are not found in the 66-book Protestant KJV. 

Why Publishers Sell WEB as the “Complete Ethiopian Bible”

• The “88 Book” Claim: The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church uses a broader canon (81-88 books) than Western traditions. Publishers use the WEB for the 66 books common to both, then append public domain translations of the remaining books to create a “complete” package.
• Public Domain & Modern Language: The WEB is free to use, allowing for inexpensive, mass-market publication. It updates the archaic English of the KJV to modern English, making it appealing to contemporary readers.
• Market Demand for “Lost” Books: There is high consumer interest in the apocryphal texts (Enoch, Jubilees) included in the Ethiopian canon, which are not in the KJV.
• Distinction: The Ethiopian Bible is based on Ge’ez manuscripts, while the KJV is based on the Textus Receptus. While the “Ethiopian Bible” in English is often actually a compilation, publishers market it to highlight its inclusion of the extra books.

Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?

I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.

When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.

We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.

Women are looking for a fathers love

Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in Christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave theses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.

Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.

Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)

In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.

All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.
