Your Price Is Too High! – 7 Steps to Defending Price
1. Don’t flinch—respond with confidence
When a buyer challenges your price, your immediate reaction should be one of calm, not panic. Hesitation or nervousness can signal that your price isn’t firm. State your price with the same confidence you’d use to state the time. By showing supreme confidence, you project a belief in your product’s value that the customer can share.
2. Ask questions to uncover the real objection
A price objection often hides a deeper concern. Respond with questions to understand the customer’s perspective.
- “By how much?” This simple question can force the buyer to quantify their objection.
- “Compared to what?” This helps identify if the buyer is comparing the offer to an inferior competitor or a different solution.
- “Can you help me understand why?” This open-ended question encourages the buyer to reveal their underlying concerns, such as budget, features, or perceived value.
3. Know your competition (and your value)
Before entering a negotiation, it is necessary to be familiar with competitors’ pricing and discounting strategies. This allows you to:
- Explain superior value: Outline what makes the offer better regarding quality, durability, and included services.
- Challenge lowball comparisons: If a competitor’s price is significantly lower, question whether their offer includes all the proposed extras.
4. Defend the value proposition
Focus on the value the solution provides, not the cost. Explain how a higher price delivers a superior return on investment (ROI) and emotional benefits, such as reduced risk, ease of use, or quality of life.
- Create a compelling story: Use success stories from similar customers to build an emotional connection and demonstrate tangible benefits.
- Quantify the benefits: Show how the product saves money or increases revenue. For example, if the solution saves a team time, quantify the man-hours saved and demonstrate how the financial return exceeds the cost.
5. Gain commitment throughout the process
After explaining the value, ask for a commitment. This step is about moving the conversation forward toward a resolution. If value has been established, the next step is for the customer to confirm their interest.
- “You mentioned you were looking to [achieve a specific goal], and you agreed our solution would help with that. Where’s the disconnect?”.
- “Is there anything else preventing us from moving forward?” This uncovers any remaining objections.
6. Leave the door open for future discussion
Even if the deal cannot be closed immediately, it is important to maintain a good relationship. Selling is an ongoing process. If the customer cannot afford the premium offer, present a good/better/best option or a more flexible payment plan to keep the conversation going.
7. Strengthen the process to prevent future objections
Analyze why the objection arose in the first place. Did the value fail to be demonstrated early enough? Refine the sales message and positioning to make the unique benefits clearer in future conversations. Being more proactive and focused on value from the beginning can eliminate the need to defend the price.

In sales, a price objection is often a mask for deeper concerns, and handling it from a biblical perspective emphasizes integrity, value, and humility rather than manipulation. The following seven steps incorporate these principles, supported by verses from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible.

| 4. Serve them by showing your worth. | Your diligent and excellent work should serve as a testament to your product’s value, as if you were serving the Lord himself. This honors God and builds trust with your customer. | “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” (Colossians 3:23). |
| 5. Affirm the relationship and commitment. | Build trust and honor God by seeking long-term relationships rather than just quick sales. Confirm the customer’s needs and their stated interest in your solution to move the conversation toward a righteous conclusion. | “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18:24). |
| 6. Offer creative solutions, if necessary. | Generosity and fair-dealing are biblical principles. If the customer genuinely cannot afford the premium offer, you can offer options with different value tiers, reflecting a spirit of compassion rather than greed. | “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself” (Proverbs 11:25). |
| 7. Learn to prevent future objections. | Wisdom and planning are praised in the Bible. After the negotiation, take time to reflect on the process and refine your approach. A solid foundation prevents future problems. | “The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war” (Proverbs 16:23, Proverbs 20:18). |

Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?
I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.
When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.
We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.
Women are looking for a fathers love
Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in Christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave theses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.
Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.
Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)
In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.
All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.
