5 People GOD Commands You NOT to HELP (and nobody preaches about this)

5 People GOD Commands You NOT to HELP (and nobody preaches about this)

Based on biblical teachings, God commands believers not to help certain individuals not out of unkindness, but to honor wisdom, maintain spiritual integrity, and avoid enabling destructive behavior.
Jesus loved all people but did not assist everyone—He set boundaries, withdrew from crowds, and warned against misplacing compassion. The following five types of people are explicitly identified in Scripture as those with whom believers should not offer aid or close association.

1. The Fool Who Refuses Wisdom

ScriptureProverbs 23:9 – “Do not speak in the hearing of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.”

A biblical “fool” is not someone lacking intelligence, but one who actively rejects wisdom and divine truth.  This person argues not to learn, but to justify their choices. They seek validation, not transformation. Repeated attempts to advise or help such individuals result in wasted effort, as they despise correction and remain entrenched in folly.

  • They mock godly counsel.
  • They blame others for their failures.
  • They resist change despite repeated warnings.

God instructs believers to disengage, as pouring wisdom into unreceptive ears dishonors the value of truth.

2. The Deceitful Person

ScriptureProverbs 26:24 – “A malicious man disguises himself with his lips.”

This individual is manipulative, dishonest, and emotionally destructive.  They present themselves as innocent or vulnerable while sowing chaos behind the scenes. Helping them makes you complicit in their deception.

  • They lie to avoid accountability.
  • They twist narratives to play the victim.
  • They exploit kindness for personal gain.

Jesus called Satan the “father of lies” (John 8:44), warning that deception opposes spiritual truth. Supporting such people undermines justice and enables further harm.

3. The Immoral Person Who Refuses Repentance

Scripture1 Corinthians 5:11 – “Do not associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet lives in sexual immorality, greed, idolatry, or drunkenness.”

This refers to someone professing faith but persisting in unrepentant sin.  The issue is not past failure, but a lifestyle of defiance toward God’s standards.

  • They justify sin rather than confess it.
  • They claim spiritual identity while rejecting holiness.
  • They risk leading others into compromise.

Paul instructs the church not to even eat with such individuals—not out of hatred, but to uphold moral clarity and encourage repentance through consequence.

4. The Divisive Person

ScriptureTitus 3:10 – “Warn a divisive person once, then a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them.”

A divisive person thrives on conflict, drama, and disunity.  They disrupt peace in families, churches, and communities.

  • They escalate tensions instead of seeking reconciliation.
  • They weaponize kindness and twist words.
  • They refuse accountability and blame others.

After two warnings, Scripture commands disassociation. Why? Because division spreads like a virus, and continued involvement only fuels their destructive agenda.

5. The Person Who Refuses Correction

ScriptureProverbs 15:10 – “Whoever hates reproof will die.”

This individual rejects all forms of guidance or rebuke.  They may appear spiritual or emotionally needy, but the moment truth is spoken, they retaliate—through anger, silence, or slander.

  • They want support without accountability.
  • They accuse helpers of being judgmental.
  • They resist any challenge to their behavior.

Jesus said, “Let them alone; they are blind guides” (Matthew 15:14). Offering help to those who hate correction leads to burnout and spiritual confusion. True love sometimes means stepping back.

While Scripture commands love for all (Matthew 5:44), it also emphasizes discernment, boundaries, and stewardship of spiritual resources
Helping the wrong people can hinder God’s disciplinary process, enable sin, and drain your calling. As Jesus refused to cast “pearls before swine” (Matthew 7:6), believers are called to wisdom over indiscriminate aid—trusting that God, not us, is the ultimate Savior.

What Does The KJV Bible Say?

It is a common misconception that the Bible commands unconditional support for every person in every situation. While the overarching theme of the New Testament is grace and charity, the King James Version (KJV) contains specific instructions regarding boundaries, discernment, and withholding help from those whose actions undermine the faith or the community.

Here are five types of people the Bible instructs believers to withdraw from or withhold specific types of support from.

1. The Idle and Unwilling to Work

The Apostle Paul was very direct about people who were capable of working but chose to live off the charity of others. He instructed the church not to enable laziness.

  • Key Verse: “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.” (2 Thessalonians 3:10

2. The “Busybody” and Disorderly Walker

In the same context as the idle, Paul warns against those who spend their time meddling in others’ affairs rather than being productive. The command is to “withdraw” from them to encourage them to change.

  • Key Verse: “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly…” (2 Thessalonians 3:6

3. The Heretic (After Warning)

When someone spreads false doctrine or causes division within a spiritual community, the Bible suggests that after a few attempts to correct them, you should stop providing them with your time and energy.

  • Key Verse: “A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;” (Titus 3:10

4. Those Who Bring False Doctrine to Your Home

In 2 John, there is a specific warning against providing “hospitality” (which was a vital form of help in the ancient world) to those traveling specifically to spread teachings that contradict the Gospel.

  • Key Verse: “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:” (2 John 1:10

5. The Mocker or “Scorner”

Proverbs frequently suggests that trying to help or correct a “scorner” (someone who actively hates the truth or mocks righteousness) is a waste of effort and will only result in the helper getting hurt.

  • Key Verse: “Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.” (Proverbs 23:9

Summary Table: Biblical Boundaries for Help

Type of Person KJV ReferenceThe Command/InstructionReason for Withholding Help
The Idle2 Thessalonians 3:10“Neither should he eat”To prevent enabling laziness.
The Disorderly2 Thessalonians 3:6“Withdraw yourselves”To maintain the integrity of the group.
The HereticTitus 3:10“Reject”To stop the spread of division.
False Teachers2 John 1:10“Receive him not into your house”To avoid participating in their “evil deeds.”
The ScornerProverbs 9:8“Reprove not a scorner”They will hate you for trying to help/correct.

A Note on Context

In the KJV, these verses are often intended to protect the resource of the helper and the purity of the church. The goal is usually “tough love”—withholding help so the individual feels the natural consequences of their actions and is led to repentance.

The Greek or Hebrew meanings of any of these specific words (like “heretick” or “disorderly”) to see the deeper original context?

The biblical commands are less about being “unkind” and more about maintaining spiritual and communal health. Here is the deeper context for those specific KJV terms:

1. The “Heretick” (Hairetikos) In Titus 3:10, the word for “heretick” is the Greek hairetikos

  • Original Meaning: It literally means “able to choose” or “self-chosen”. In this context, it refers to someone who chooses their own opinion over established truth and then pushes that opinion to create a “party” or “sect”.
  • The Problem: It isn’t just about someone who is confused; it’s about a factious person who is “self-condemned” and refuses to listen to correction after two warnings. Helping them by continuing the debate only feeds their desire for division.

2. The “Disorderly” (Ataktōs) In 2 Thessalonians 3:6, the word for “disorderly” is the Greek ataktōs

  • Original Meaning: This is a military term meaning “out of rank”. It describes a soldier who has left their post or is not following the commander’s orders.
  • The Problem: In the early church, some people stopped working because they thought Jesus was returning immediately. Paul’s “withdraw” command was to show them that their irresponsible behavior (being a “busybody” instead of a worker) had consequences.

3. The “Scorner” (Luts) In Proverbs 23:9, the Hebrew word for “scorner” is luts

  • Original Meaning: It literally means “to make mouths at” or to mock with a curled lip. It describes someone who is arrogant and has a total disdain for anyone else’s wisdom.
  • The Problem: Because they “despise” the words of the helper, any effort to assist or correct them is seen as an affront to their pride. The Bible says helping them only brings “shame” and “insults” to you.

This is a major important point about forgiveness

Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. -MATTHEW 5:24 KJV

Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?

I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.

When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.

We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.

Women are looking for a fathers love

Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in Christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave theses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.

Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.

Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)

In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.

All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.

In a world where it is so easy to forget the importance of God, we must remember that He is holy and will not share His glory. America has forgotten this truth and it is time for us to re-examine our relationship with God and recognize that He is the one true God who deserves our full devotion and reverence. We must remember that He will not be taken lightly or ignored, but rather should be honored as the Creator of all things. Only then can we truly experience His love and grace in our lives.
