A recent investigation involving over 400 participants has revealed that Instacart uses AI-driven algorithms to charge different prices for the same grocery items, even when shoppers are at the same store and time. The study, conducted by More Perfect Union, Consumer Reports, and Groundwork Collaborative, found that nearly three out of four products tested had varying prices across different users’ carts. For example, eggs showed a price spread from $4.28 to $4.69, and Wheat Thins had up to four different prices. These price differences were not random but appeared to be grouped, with users sorted into distinct price tiers based on behavioral data such as purchase history, shopping frequency, and loyalty program participation.

The investigation suggests that Instacart’s system, powered by technology acquired through the purchase of Eversight, uses machine learning to optimize pricing and maximize profits. This includes a feature called “Smart Rounding,” which adjusts prices based on algorithmic predictions to improve price perception and drive incremental sales. Although Instacart claims retailers set prices and denies targeting users based on personal data, internal communications and patents indicate a more complex system. The company has also removed a feature from its website related to price optimization via electronic shelf labels, raising further questions about its operations.

Critically, the study found evidence that this pricing strategy extends beyond online platforms into physical stores. Electronic shelf labels, which can be updated in real time, may be used to test different prices in-store, with the app mirroring the shelf prices. This could allow for subtle, permanent price adjustments that are difficult for consumers to detect. Former FTC Chair Lina Khan expressed concern that such systems could facilitate collusion among retailers, undermining fair competition.

The findings suggest that this form of algorithmic price discrimination could cost American families up to $1,200 annually. While the FTC had initiated an investigation into surveillance pricing and AI-driven pricing changes, the status of that probe is now uncertain under the current administration. Experts emphasize the need for greater transparency and regulatory scrutiny, noting that states like California and New York have already taken steps to ban certain types of algorithmic price fixing.

What Does The KJV Bible Say?

While the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible does not directly address modern retail algorithms, it contains clear principles about greed, fair pricing, and the sanctity of ethical commerce—many of which challenge the moral foundations of such practices.

1. Fair Weights and Measures

Proverbs 11:1 (KJV): “A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.”
This verse condemns dishonest pricing and deceptive trade practices. Charging different prices based on consumer data without transparency mirrors the “false balance” God detests.

2. Exploitation of the Poor

Amos 8:5 (KJV): “Making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?”
This prophetic condemnation targets merchants who manipulate systems to overcharge the vulnerable—a direct parallel to AI-driven pricing that targets less price-sensitive or less tech-savvy shoppers.

3. Contentment Over Covetousness

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV): “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have…”
The pursuit of maximum profit at the expense of fairness reflects covetousness, which the Bible repeatedly warns against.

4. The Golden Rule in Commerce

Luke 6:31 (KJV): “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.”
If retailers would not want to be charged more based on their browsing history or location, they should not impose such systems on others.

One of the most powerful acts of Jesus in the KJV Gospels was His cleansing of the temple:

Matthew 21:12–13 (KJV): “And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple… and said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.”

Jesus did not object to commerce in general, but to sacred spaces being corrupted by greed and exploitation. Today, grocery stores are essential spaces for survival—especially for low-income families. Turning them into surveillance-driven profit engines risks making them “dens of thieves” in a modern sense.

Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?

I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.

When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.

We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.

Women are looking for a fathers love

Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in Christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave theses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.

Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.

Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)

In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.

All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.
