Car Manufacturers Are Screwing Us Video Review
A YouTube video titled “Car Manufacturers Are Screwing Us” highlights widespread consumer concerns about the automotive industry, focusing on rising vehicle prices, poor reliability, predatory financing practices, and the increasing role of software in modern cars. The video presents data showing that the average new vehicle price has reached an all-time high of over $50,000, with 19.3% of new car buyers now committing to monthly payments of $1,000 or more. Many consumers are extending loan terms to 84 months or even 92 months, setting a new record, while the average monthly payment stands at $748. This financial strain is exacerbated by the fact that Americans now owe $1.66 trillion in auto loans, and subprime borrowers are increasingly behind on payments, with 6.65% at least 60 days late—the highest level since the early 1990s.
The video also criticizes the declining quality of modern vehicles, citing a JD Power study that found vehicle problems after three years of ownership at their highest level since 2009. It references a 2024 Kia Tellide that experienced multiple failures within two months, including a detached door handle, a non-functional speedometer, and loss of power steering. In 2024, over 27.7 million vehicles were recalled, with Ford alone issuing 103 recalls affecting over 9 million vehicles by October 2025, largely due to software and electronic control unit (ECU) issues. The video argues that the shift toward software-defined vehicles—where hundreds of tiny computers control everything from brakes to infotainment—has increased complexity, reduced reliability, and raised vehicle costs.
Furthermore, the video condemns the use of ECUs for predatory practices, such as charging monthly fees for features like heated seats, Apple CarPlay, and camera storage, even after purchase. It also raises concerns about data collection, with automakers tracking genetic, physiological, and behavioral data, including audio from within the vehicle to tailor advertisements. Ford has filed a patent for an in-vehicle ad system that monitors driver behavior and conversations to serve targeted ads. The video notes that some automakers have pressured YouTube sponsors to remove critical reviews, as seen in the case of car consultant Shari Prymak, whose video on the most expensive cars to maintain was taken down after automakers targeted his sponsors.
The video concludes by warning that car manufacturers are prioritizing software services and data monetization—projected to be worth $750 billion by 2030—over vehicle reliability and consumer trust. It urges viewers to question who truly benefits from the latest automotive technology, especially when it comes at the cost of financial strain, poor build quality, and loss of privacy.
What Does The KJV Bible Say?
While there is no single specific “Car Manufacturers Are Screwing Us” video that is officially sanctioned by a biblical organization, several viral video reviews in 2025 criticize the auto industry for inflated pricing, predatory markups, and unreliable technology. These modern consumer complaints align with several
King James Version (KJV) verses regarding greed, dishonest gain, and the exploitation of the buyer.
Biblical Analysis of Modern Auto Industry Practices
The following table compares common criticisms found in modern “auto industry exposé” videos with corresponding KJV biblical principles.
| Video Review Criticism | Relevant KJV Verse | Biblical Principle |
|---|---|---|
| Greedy Markups: Dealers and manufacturers charging significantly over MSRP. | Proverbs 15:27: “He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live”. | Unjust pursuit of profit causes long-term instability for both the seller and the household. |
| Dishonest Pricing: Hidden fees or misleading financial terms used to trap buyers. | Proverbs 11:1: “A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight”. | God demands honesty in all business transactions and weights (pricing structures). |
| Planned Obsolescence: Manufacturing cars that break down shortly after the warranty. | Proverbs 21:6: “The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death”. | Wealth built on deception or poor craftsmanship is fleeting and leads to ruin. |
| Exploitation of the Poor: High-interest subprime loans for necessary transportation. | Ezekiel 22:29: “The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy…”. | Oppressing the needy through unfair financial practices is a severe biblical offense. |
| Corporate Greed: Prioritizing record profits over consumer safety and value. | 1 Timothy 6:10: “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith…”. | Prioritizing wealth over human well-being leads to spiritual and systemic corruption. |
Summary of the “Screwing Us” Narrative
- Market Manipulation: Reviews note that manufacturers realized during the pandemic that consumers would pay higher prices, leading to sustained MSRP increases that outpace average earnings.
- The Debt Trap: Average monthly payments have soared above $750 in 2025, forcing many into a cycle of debt. From a KJV perspective, this is often viewed through Proverbs 22:7: “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”
- Resulting Crisis: The pursuit of “unjust gain” has led to the highest vehicle repossession rates since the 2008 recession.
Are you looking for a Christian perspective on a specific car brand, or would you like a guide on how to apply these KJV principles when negotiating for a vehicle?
In 2025, applying
King James Version (KJV) principles to car buying is about moving from a “buyer vs. seller” mindset to one of stewardship, patience, and integrity. Below is a guide to navigating the car market and evaluating brands through a biblical lens.
Applying KJV Principles to Car Negotiations
When you enter a dealership, you are entering a high-pressure environment. Use these verses as your “negotiation manual.”
| Step | KJV Verse | Application for 2025 |
|---|---|---|
| Preparation | Luke 14:28: “For which of you… sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” | Research the Total Cost of Ownership, including insurance and maintenance, before looking at monthly payments. |
| The Deal | Proverbs 11:1: “A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.” | Insist on transparency. If a dealer uses “false weights” (hidden fees or adjusted markups), walk away. |
| Patience | Proverbs 21:5: “The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty; but of every one that is hasty only to want.” | Never sign on the first day. Dealers use urgency to force “hasty” decisions that lead to financial “want”. |
| Integrity | Philippians 2:4: “Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.” | Negotiation should be a “win-win.” Seeking to destroy the other party is unbiblical; seek a fair price for a fair product. |
| Debt Avoidance | Proverbs 22:7: “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” | Minimize or avoid long-term loans. Being “servant” to a 72-month car note restricts your ability to be generous elsewhere. |
A Christian Perspective on Car Brands (2025)
No specific car brand is inherently “Christian,” but you can evaluate manufacturers based on their corporate stewardship and ethical fruit.
- Honesty & Recalls: Brands that proactively issue recalls (like Toyota or Honda) often reflect the principle of Proverbs 28:13: “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy”.
- Stewardship of Creation: For believers focused on environmental stewardship (Creation Care), brands leading in fuel efficiency or sustainable manufacturing (such as Tesla or Hyundai’s electric line) align with the call to tend the earth (Genesis 2:15).
- Reliability vs. Vanity: Buying a car for status rather than service violates the warning against “the pride of life” (1 John 2:16). Brands known for longevity—allowing you to stay out of the market longer—are often better for a life of contentment.
Practical Advice for the 2025 Buyer
- Seek Multitude of Counsel: Proverbs 15:22 suggests that without counsel, purposes are disappointed. Bring a trusted friend or use a car-buying service like the Consumer Reports Car Buying Show to avoid being misled.
- Be Content: 1 Timothy 6:6 says “godliness with contentment is great gain.” Before upgrading, ask if your current vehicle can be repaired to save funds for God’s work.
As You seek understanding and clarity in your life you should always turn to your Heavenly Father for Guidance

This is a major important point about forgiveness
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. -MATTHEW 5:24 KJV
Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?
I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.
When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.
We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.
Women are looking for a fathers love
Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in Christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave theses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.
Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.
Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)
In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

Spiritual Order – In The Family and Church

Here is Book, Chapter and Verse from the Kings James Version 1 Corinthian 11:2-16, But the main message is in 1 Corinthian 11:3: “3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.”

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.
All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.
After Reading The Passage I would Recommend Doing A Silent Prayer
Its is said: Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10 King James Version (KJV)

In a world where it is so easy to forget the importance of God, we must remember that He is holy and will not share His glory. America has forgotten this truth and it is time for us to re-examine our relationship with God and recognize that He is the one true God who deserves our full devotion and reverence. We must remember that He will not be taken lightly or ignored, but rather should be honored as the Creator of all things. Only then can we truly experience His love and grace in our lives.
