A core tactic is narcissistic baiting, where the narcissist provokes strong emotional reactions to create cognitive dissonance, making the victim question their own reality and judgment. This confusion serves to entrench the narcissist’s control and diminish the victim’s sense of self. The narcissist may also use blame-shifting, subtly deflecting responsibility by implying the victim is at fault, such as saying, “I’m sorry I looked through your phone, but if you were more honest, I wouldn’t have to do that”. This tactic undermines the victim’s self-esteem, making them feel small, unlovable, and powerless, which ensures continued dependence on the narcissist’s validation.

Furthermore, narcissists lack empathy and are unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others. This emotional emptiness drives them to seek constant admiration and validation from others, which they use to fill their inner void. When their need for admiration is unmet, or when they perceive a threat to their self-image, they enter a state of self-preservation, often launching attacks to hurt the other person and restore their sense of superiority. The victim’s overthinking, in this context, becomes a tool of manipulation, as the narcissist uses the resulting emotional turmoil to reinforce their control and maintain their fragile ego.

The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible does not use the modern terms “overthinking” or “narcissists,” but it addresses the underlying concepts using terms like pride, worry, and deceit. Overthinking and worry are framed as a lack of trust in God, while narcissistic behaviors are identified as self-love and manipulation. 

The Harm of Excessive Thinking and Worry

The Bible warns against the mental anguish and ineffectiveness of excessive worry or overthinking, encouraging believers to trust in God’s provision and guidance instead. 

The KJV Bible addresses excessive thinking and worry through principles like not taking thought for the morrow (Matthew 6:34), trusting in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5), casting down imaginations (2 Corinthians 10:5), and making requests known to God through prayer (Philippians 4:6-7). Hidden Tactics of the “Proud” (Narcissists)

Scripture characterizes individuals with traits associated with narcissism as proud, self-serving, and manipulative, and advises caution and separation from such behavior. The KJV identifies traits like self-love (2 Timothy 3:2), manipulation through flattery (Romans 16:18), pride (Proverbs 16:18), and lack of empathy (2 Timothy 3:3) as harmful tactics that affect others. While not explicitly stated as “blame-shifting,” the Bible encourages believers to confess sins (1 John 1:9), implying individuals with these traits may avoid personal responsibility. 

The Problem with “Thinking Too Much” (Overthinking/Worry) 

The Bible addresses overthinking in the context of worry, anxiety, and a lack of faith. Jesus teaches that worrying is fruitless and adds nothing to one’s life. It stems from focusing on personal understanding rather than relying on God’s provision and guidance.

Anxiety and Instability	“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:8), describing the negative effects of anxious, wavering thoughts.
Causes Depression/Sorrow	“Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.” (Proverbs 12:25), linking anxiety to a heavy heart.
Spiritual Vulnerability	Overthinking can create doubts and fears, making a person vulnerable to the “fiery darts” of the enemy (Satan).

The Hidden Tactics of Narcissists (Pride/Self-love)

While the term “narcissist” is not used in the KJV, Scripture clearly describes the traits and behaviors associated with excessive self-love and pride, often referred to as a “haughty spirit” or “lovers of their own selves”. These individuals prioritize their own interests, manipulate others, and resist correction.

Self-Centeredness/Pride	“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud…” (2 Timothy 3:2), describing a key characteristic of people in the “last days”.
Manipulation/Deceit	“The wicked flatters himself in his own eyes” and speaks deceit (Psalm 36:1-3), indicating a pattern of self-deception and lying.
Lack of Empathy	“Without natural affection” (2 Timothy 3:3), describing a core lack of concern for others’ feelings and needs.
Resistance to Accountability	“He that hateth reproof is brutish” (Proverbs 12:1), illustrating resistance to correction or discipline.
Blame-Shifting	Narcissists often blame others for their mistakes, a behavior contrary to taking responsibility for sin (which the Bible encourages in 1 John 1:9).
Exaltation of Self over God	“Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness…” (Ezekiel 28:17), describing the devil’s prideful rebellion, a key example of narcissism.

The biblical solution to both harmful overthinking and the tactics of narcissism involves cultivating humility, trust in God, and selfless love for others. By casting anxieties upon God and focusing on His wisdom, individuals can find peace and stability, and resist the self-destructive nature of pride.

It is important to note that only a qualified mental health professional, such as a psychiatrist or psychologist, can diagnose narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) through a comprehensive clinical evaluation. Self-administered quizzes, such as the one below, are for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for a professional diagnosis.

Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?

I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.

When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.

We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.

Women are looking for a fathers love

Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in Christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave theses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.

Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.

Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)

In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.

All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.
