The False Security that No Woman Sees (Until It Is Too Late)

The False Security that No Woman Sees (Until It Is Too Late)

Teal Swan discusses the concept of false security that many women experience in relationships, highlighting how the belief that a man’s love or sexual attraction guarantees his commitment to their wellbeing is often misplaced. This false sense of security stems from historical and cultural norms where women relied on men for safety and stability, a dynamic that persists despite progress toward gender equality. Swan emphasizes that true security comes from direct communication and self-advocacy rather than relying on a partner’s affection.

  • Teal Swan: A spiritual teacher and author who explores themes of personal growth, relationships, and emotional healing. In her work, she addresses the false sense of security that many women feel in relationships, arguing that it is often based on the assumption that a man’s love or attraction ensures his commitment to their wellbeing.
  • False Security: A concept discussed by Teal Swan, referring to the mistaken belief that a man’s love or attraction guarantees his commitment to a woman’s safety and wellbeing. Swan argues that this belief is often misplaced and that true security comes from direct communication and self-advocacy.
  • Relationship Dynamics: The way in which individuals interact and form connections. Swan’s work highlights how traditional gender roles and cultural expectations can influence relationship dynamics, leading to a false sense of security for women.

False Security for Women

According to the text “The False Security that No Woman Sees Until It Is Too Late” by Teal Swan, the concept of false security for women is tied to the idea that women often seek security through men, which is seen as a form of manipulation. This belief is rooted in historical and cultural contexts where women’s wellbeing was largely dependent on men. The text discusses how this dynamic has evolved over time, but the underlying issues persist.

While the text does not directly reference specific KJV verses, it touches on themes found in biblical passages that discuss gender roles and submission. Below is a table summarizing relevant KJV verses and their implications:

VerseTextImplication
1 Timothy 2“But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”This verse emphasizes the role of women in maintaining silence and not taking authority over men, reflecting traditional gender roles.
1 Corinthians 14“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.”This passage reinforces the idea of women’s submission and silence in church settings, suggesting that women should seek guidance from their husbands rather than speaking in public.
Genesis 3“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”This verse outlines the consequences of the Fall, indicating that women’s desire would be to their husbands, and they would be ruled over by them, reinforcing the idea of male authority.

These verses highlight the traditional roles and expectations placed on women, which can be seen as contributing to the concept of false security discussed in Teal Swan’s text. The implications of these verses suggest a historical context where women’s security was tied to their relationships with men, a theme that continues to influence societal dynamics today.

However, the KJV, especially within the context of certain passages, highlights specific instances where women are depicted as being vulnerable to deception or complacency, leading to negative consequences:

1. 1 Timothy 2:14 (KJV)

This verse is often cited in discussions about women and deception: “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression”. Bible Gateway says the verse points out Eve’s deception by the serpent in the Garden of Eden. While some interpret this to mean women are inherently more easily deceived, it’s important to understand the context. Some interpretations suggest Paul refers to the order of creation (Adam first, then Eve) and the specific nature of Eve’s temptation, not a general weakness in women. It highlights that Eve was deceived before she sinned, contrasting with Adam’s deliberate disobedience. The emphasis is often placed on the consequences of falling prey to deception.

2. Proverbs 7 (KJV)

This chapter presents a vivid warning about the dangers of a seductive, immoral woman who uses flattery and enticing words to lure young men into sin, according to Bible.com. The passage describes how she creates a false sense of security through her cunning and smooth talk, leading to destruction and death.

While this chapter specifically addresses a man being deceived by a woman, the broader principle applies to anyone, regardless of gender, who falls prey to temptation and deceptive allurements, whether from another person or the world itself, says Middletown Bible Church.

3. Isaiah 32:9-11 (KJV)

This passage addresses women who are described as “at ease” and “complacent”, warning them of impending trouble and judgment due to their lack of spiritual awareness and complacency, according to Bible Gateway. This highlights the danger of becoming overly comfortable and secure in one’s life, neglecting spiritual preparedness, says iBelieve.com

4. Other examples

The Bible provides other examples of women who were deceived or involved in deceit, including Delilah and Jezebel. While these instances may not directly address “false security” in the same way as the previous examples, they demonstrate the dangers of falling prey to the enemy’s schemes and the importance of discernment and spiritual vigilance.

Summary table of relevant verses

Verse ThemeDescription
1 Timothy 2:14 (KJV)Deception and consequenceHighlights Eve’s deception by the serpent, linking it to the Fall and the consequences of sin, according to Third Millennium Ministries.
Proverbs 7:5-27 (KJV)Warning against the seductive womanDescribes the deceptive tactics of an immoral woman who uses flattery and enticement to lure men into sin, leading to ruin and death, according to Bible Gateway.
Isaiah 32:9-11 (KJV)Consequences of complacencyAdmonishes women who are “at ease” and “complacent,” warning of future trouble and judgment due to spiritual unpreparedness and a false sense of security.
1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)Be vigilant against the enemyAdvises believers, including women, to be vigilant and sober-minded, because the devil seeks to devour those who are complacent or easily swayed, says iBelieve.com.
James 1:22 (KJV)Being doers of the word, not hearers only, deceiving yourselvesThis applies to all, emphasizing the danger of intellectual knowledge without practical application, creating a false sense of security, says Church of the Great God.

In essence, these verses collectively highlight the dangers of spiritual complacency, succumbing to deception, and a false sense of security in one’s life. While some verses may specifically address women in their warnings, the broader message applies to all individuals in their spiritual walk. True security, according to the Bible, is found in actively seeking God’s will, exercising discernment, and remaining vigilant against the temptations and deceits of the world.

This is a major important point about forgiveness

Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. -MATTHEW 5:24 KJV

Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?

I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.

When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.

We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.

Women are looking for a fathers love

Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in Christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave theses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.

Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.

Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)

In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.

All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.

In a world where it is so easy to forget the importance of God, we must remember that He is holy and will not share His glory. America has forgotten this truth and it is time for us to re-examine our relationship with God and recognize that He is the one true God who deserves our full devotion and reverence. We must remember that He will not be taken lightly or ignored, but rather should be honored as the Creator of all things. Only then can we truly experience His love and grace in our lives.
