Lets begin by sharing with you Roy Masters history:

Roy Masters (born 2 April 1928, died 22 April 2021) was an English-born American author, radio personality, businessman and hypnotist. He was the creator of a type of mindfulness meditation exercise, which has appeared in his books and recordings. Masters is the founder of the Oregon non-profit organization, the Foundation of Human Understanding. His forays into radio broadcasting included his own show, Advice Line, and the Talk Radio Network, a short-lived but popular conservative talk radio syndicator.

Roy Masters died in Oregon on April 22, 2021.

Lessons in hypnotism

During his early years in Brighton, Masters saw a stage hypnosis presentation where the hypnotist easily induced volunteer subjects to do strange and outlandish things. Masters remembered pondering the question: “Why can’t hypnotism be used to make people act sensibly, rather than foolishly?”^[6]

Upon further exploration of hypnotism in the 1950s, Masters repudiated hypnotherapy, but he soon opened the Institute of Hypnosis in Houston. There, he saw as many as 30 clients a day for consultation, where he says he “unhypnotised” them instead of hypnotizing them.^[2]

Masters called hypnosis a “duplication of life’s errors”:

When I was a hypnotist, they used to say to me “You’re a hypnotist, are you? When are you going to put me to sleep?” And I would say “Well when are you going to wake up? Because you’re already asleep.” Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness…When a person is hypnotized—or reacts to stress, which is the same thing—he’s not aware that he’s being influenced. And when he is under the influence, he moves and has his being according to somebody else’s will. And we don’t realize that but when we do realize it, we make excuses. We deny. We deny that somebody else is controlling us other than us. That’s our problem.— Roy Masters, appearance on The Joe Franklin Show

About his changing professions from diamond cutting, Masters said in an interview “I had my own business, but I left that lucrative work because I had a calling for this kind of work. I’m more interested in what I’m doing now than anything else.”^[7]

Masters set the precedent for the legality of non-medical practice of hypnosis when he was charged with practicing medicine without a license at age 30.^[2]^[8] He was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail.^[2] (For the medical practice of hypnotism, see hypnotism precursors, such as Dave Elman.)

The Foundation for Human Understanding

Masters lived in Los Angeles, California, buying a house trailer and living in Venice, CA in 1961. He later profited from his investment in gold at its price highs in 1980 and purchased Tall Timber Ranch in Selma, Oregon, and relocated his family to Grants Pass, Oregon, where he moved the non-profit Foundation of Human Understanding.^[7]^[9] He produced an observational or meditation recording titled How Your Mind Can Keep You Well, which became the title of his radio show and one of his books.

Talk radio show

In 1961, Masters started a talk radio counseling show, which is currently broadcast under the name Advice Line, as a syndicated program. The show has been on the air continuously since its start. Masters passed hosting duties to his sons, David and Alan, shortly before his death.^[10]

What is Arianism or a Arianism Heresy?

Arianism (Koinē Greek: Ἀρειανισμός, Areianismós)^[1] is a Christological doctrine first attributed to Arius (c. AD 256–336),^[1][2][3] a Christian presbyter from Alexandria, Egypt.^[1] Arian theology holds that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,^[4][a][5][b] who was begotten by God the Father^[2] with the difference that the Son of God did not always exist but was begotten within time by God the Father, therefore Jesus was not co-eternal with God the Father.^[2][c] Arianism holds that the Son is distinct from the Father and therefore subordinate to Him.^[3] The term Arian is derived from the name Arius; it was not what the followers of Arius’s teachings called themselves, but rather a term used by outsiders.^[7] The nature of Arius’s teachings and his supporters were opposed to the theological doctrines held by Homoousian Christians, regarding the nature of the Trinity and the nature of Christ.

Are You Your Own Worst Enemy?

I would start out by saying what Jesus Christ would want us to do? Pray and how should we pray? The Lord’s Prayer, and how often should we pray? Continually. Why do we use the Lord’s Prayer and not some other? The Lord’s Prayer covers all the areas that is important for our spiritual being.

When we pray the Lords prayer we ask to forgive our enemies, let God’s will be done, the kingdom to come. By praying the Lord’s prayer we let go of many thoughts we have in our head and give them back to God so we can have things revealed to us.

We must overcome resentment in our heart, and in a past video I shared about Dr. Jordan Peterson talks about how resentment can destroy us and we become our own very worst enemy and Jordan goes on to say that we must talk to people what we have resentment toward to overcome that resentment. Other people who lived in the past who talked about this is Jesus Christ and someone who is living now who talks about this daily is Brother Augustine, Dr. John MacArthur, Dr. Charles Stanley, Rev. John Piper and Pastor Paul Washer.

Women are looking for a fathers love

Women are looking for a fathers love. Its important that men understand women are looking for a fathers love and not get screwed. Woman more than anything are looking for a strong spiritual man to lead the future (the family). I think in many YouTube videos on biblical teachings, how young women are being hurt by men that are just looking to get laid instead of doing right and being in christ and setting a good example of a strong man. We must be in Christ, hate no one, love all, forgave thoses we resent, love what is right and support people who are walking with God.

Women need their fathers in their lives to be strong man to be good examples and not BETA men or weak examples of what a man should be. Its important that a man leads the way as Christ leads men, we as man need to fellow Jesus Christ to keep society from going to HELL.

Every day you can see or people watch how some men and women our living in hell without the right spiritual order then you will continue your hellish way according to 2 Peter. You can also find it in Romans. God will give you over to a reprobate mind.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. – Romans 1:28 (KJV)

In Romans 1, Paul refers to something known as a reprobate mind. If you’re not familiar with the term reprobate, the literal definition in the Greek is failing to pass the test, unapproved, counterfeit.

How God Commands Us To Forgive Those Who We Have Resentment Toward.

All of us are tested everyday by our personal internal struggle coming from resentment of what happened earlier in our lives as children typically what our mother did to us, telling how our fathers were not good enough or driving us away from our fathers when we were children. We most go to the people that we have resentment against and forgive them. By forgiving our mothers or whoever we have resentment against, God will forgive us and we can return to the heavenly Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It was said if you don’t love everyone then you love no one. People today live like the Old Testament people did. We must forgive and love everyone as God Commanded us to do according to Matthew 22:34-40.
